Baseball Title Point Totals

Do all World Championships matter? Yes. Do some matter more than others? Yes. Is recency the determining factor? Yes: Met fans can cling to 1969 and 1986 all they want, but the iconic status of those two does not change the fact that the titles won in 1970 by the Baltimore Orioles and 1987 by the Minnesota Twins mean more.

The 1st World Series was in 1903. So give the team that won that 1 point, and each following World Series winner 1 more point than the previous.

Once a team moves, they have to start over. Atlanta can't count the Milwaukee Braves, and Oakland can't count the Philadelphia Athletics.
