A Wasted Comeback is a Waste

A.J. Burnett trails 4-0 before even getting an out.

6-4 Yankees in the bottom of the 7th. John Sterling goes berserk about the greatest Yankee comeback ever.

Angels 7, Yankees 6, the bases left loaded in the 9th. Game 6 on Saturday night.

Andy Pettitte, as I've shown, usually follows a good postseason performance with a bad one, and a bad one with a good one. By this system, he's due for a good one.

But I do not like the fact that the Yankees blew a lead when they were 7 outs away from winning the Pennant.

We should have swept this thing. Damn it, Joe, why did you relieve David Robertson in the 11th in Game 3?

We were soooo cloooose... and now we're still one win away from Pennant 40.

Right where we were on October 20, 2004.

Game 6 will be time to chew bubblegum and kick ass.

And leave the damn bubblegum in Anaheim.

Thunderstix. Rally Monkeys. And people say Yankee Fans are juvenile. The poopyheads.

At least the Devils beat the Rangers tonight, 4-2 at The Garden. RANGERS SUCK.
