Logan and Swish Come Through, Back In First!

When Bartolo Colon let that lying cheating bastard David Ortiz homer off him in the bottom of the 4th tonight at Fenway Park, to give the Red Sox a 2-0 lead, I was furious. I wanted that bastard plunked. But no, we had to let that bastard hit another homer off us.

When Colon loaded the bases with 2 out in the bottom of the 5th, and Joe Girardi brought in Boone Logan, to face the dangerous Adrian Gonazlez, I thought, "Noooooooo!" And, "Oh, God, take me now!"

Logan struck out Gonzlaez out.

In the top of the 6th, the Yankees tied it, and Nick Swisher, who I mentioned on Facebook that I thought should be the one to hit the winning home run tonight, came close enough, hitting a ground-rule double, to give the Yankees a 3-2 lead.

Mariano closed it in the bottom of the 9th, with 2 called strikeouts.

And we're back in first place.
