He could have been a legend. A true hero. Instead, he decided to take the money of a joke franchise, forfeiting any chance at ever winning a World Series, and become an ungrateful bum.

This is mostly about sports, and then mostly about baseball. It will favor the New York Yankees, the New Jersey Devils, Rutgers University football, and the London soccer club Arsenal. You got a problem with that? Make your own blog.

He's probably content with 2019 ring and decide to go for payday afterwards. Remember there was an early sign few years ago when he turn down the contract extension offered by the Nats that worth $400 million.
What can be said, for all the flak Cashman and Hal have been given (much being well deserved), I appreciate that they tried in this case. Just hope they have the same energy through the entire offseason to plug some holds that led to the lineup rely heavily on Judge and Soto to begin with. Verdugo and Rizzo needs to be replaced especially, no disrespect meant towards the latter as he had played his heart out but the guy's pretty much done.
Do you think we should go for Teoscar?
Reggie wasn't content with 3 rings when he signed with us in 1976. Cashman only had to try another $5 million. We have no one who can make up Soto's production, and I don't want to hear about no Martian.
Teoscar might be okay for another couple of years, but he's no long-term solution.
Yeah some players has more fire than the others, Soto evidently isn't one of them. That said, I get the feeling Cohen would have kept upping the ante anyway however.
Only consolation is that Soto didn't go to the Dodgers or the Red Sox.
The Yankees better find a closer as well, I'm sick of all those blown saves and how people kept defending Clay Holmes, even Armando Benitez wasn't this bad.
